I had a cookbook signing party in the Union Square farmer’s market this summer. I prepared some of my homemade kimchi and everyone was invited to come out & try some & say hello. It was a lot of fun and it was awesome to see many of my longtime fans at the market. Some of them have been coming to my NY events for years, so it’s like seeing my family members!
Here are some photos I took that day, I hope you enjoy them!
I prepared some freshly made kimchi, stir-fried fish cakes, and spicy seasoned squid for those who came to the event.
Philip and So Hyen volunteered to note the names of everybody who came to the book signing. Thank you guys!
My long time reader Kristi surprised me by showing up!
The cute baby I’m holding will grow up and may cook Korean food someday! Peekaboo, belly button! : )
Lucie, Steven, and Talinn! Thank you for coming and showing me Talinn!
“My mom makes delicious food all the time!”
The whole family loves Korean food! Can you guess who cooks the Korean dishes? The man in the eyeglasses!
Ahra Ko, her friend and her dog came together.
Everybody wants to taste my kimchi!
Have some! Kimchi in a cup!
“Yes, this kimchi tastes so good!”
Albert brought a small squash (Pattypan Squash) and asked me to sign on it. Sure, Albert! I love you!
Thank you to every one who came out to say hello! See you next time!
