So delicious! I really miss being in Korea so we decided to get some pork belly and everything we would need to make Samgyubsal! The house smells so good tonight :) I thought we had the doenjang sauce but I must have thrown it out, so I made up my own and it turned out delicious! It was 1 tablespoon Gochujang, 5 big pinches of sugar, 1 clove garlic chopped, a splash of low sodium soy sauce, and 1 or 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil. We do not have a charcoal grill either so we cooked the pork belly in the oven, which was not as good since it turned a bit crunchy and dry, but works okay when in the lettuce/perilla leaf wrap. We enjoyed it with soju!
